Chopra’s Mahabharat, has died at the age of 68 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Reports confirm that he passed away early Wednesday morning, having been in and out of hospital care in recent months.

Born on November 9, 1956 in Punjab, Pankaj Dheer acting career spanned decades, and he held a special place in popular culture through roles in television and film. While the role of Karna in Mahabharat cemented his legacy, he also starred in other memorable productions like Chandrakanta, Yug, Badho Bahu, Sasural Simar Ka, and appeared in Bollywood titles like Soldier, Baadshah, Sanam Bewafa, Andaz among others.
